Rusty Wright has teamed up with long time friend and Flint native, John Dombrowski to create the power pop Christmas song, "Love You Like It's Christmas Time". Lyrics written and lead vocals performed by John Dombrowski. JD's vocals were recorded by Michael Bricker in the studios of Stifling Edith's Bunker. Musical arrangement by John Dombrowski, Andrew Isaac, Doug Simpson and Michael Bricker. All other instruments and backing vocals performed by Rusty Wright. We truly believe that Christmas is for children and that enjoying Christmas like his or her playmates may help a child to grow up to be a good citizen." Since their beginnings in 1924, Old Newsboys of Flint has served over 835,000 children. In addition to their beloved Christmas Box gifts, they also provide coats and shoes for needy children and have an emergency box program for families that have had a house fire or suffered other catastrophic loss.
